WASHINGTON – Though most of the cherry blossoms have fallen away, the celebration continues this weekend with several events. Also in Frederick, it’s Bell and History Day.
On the roadways, we have continuing express lanes work and a new ramp opening Saturday from Interstate 66 to the Outer Loop of the Beltway with some overnight closures to make that happen.
Metro remains on spring break so no track work to worry about. There is a type of later blooming cherry tree and, who knows, maybe you’ll be lucky and still find a few blossoms if you haven’t been to the tidal basin yet.
