Riverdale man kidnapped, forced to go to ATM

RIVERDALE, Md. – A man in Riverdale, Md. was kidnapped outside his home Tuesday night and forced to go to an ATM.

Prince George’s County Police say two suspects approached the man at 10:30 p.m. in front of his home on 59th Avenue. They then forced him into his vehicle, which was taken to an ATM on Kenilworth Avenue.

Police later spotted the victim’s vehicle, which then struck a parked car. The suspects ran off and police chased them on foot.

Police say that during the chase, one of the suspects shot at an officer. No one was injured and one of the suspects was caught. Also, a gun was recovered

Authorities are still searching for the second suspect.
