WASHINGTON – At least two people were shot in Southeast D.C. Thursday night.

Both shootings happened around 10:15 p.m., D.C. police say. The first one was on 5000 block of Benning Road SE and the other on 5000 block of H Street SE.

Two men were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Officials believe the incidents are connected.
