LAUREL, Md. – A D.C. firefighter went into cardiac arrest during a hockey game at the Gardens Ice House between the D.C. Fire and EMS Department and the Prince George’s Fire and EMS Department Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters and paramedics from Prince George’s County initiated advanced life support measures and transported the man, who is believed to be in his 30s, to the hospital.
Spokesman Mark E. Brady says the man, who was revived and taken to another hospital specializing in cardiac care, is in the critical care unit.
