Are you ready to get back to the grind?

Neal Augenstein, wtop.com

WASHINGTON — Wow, that alarm clock was loud this morning.

After a few days or even weeks off, a lot of people are getting back to work for the first time since the holiday break.

After all that family togetherness, chances are you’re either feeling a bit bummed or relieved to get back to the daily grind.

Experts suggest easing into your work routine. You probably have some catching-up to do, but it doesn’t have to happen before your second cup of coffee.

Get reoriented. Go through your emails.

Start small rather than jumping into a project midway.

And maybe even talk a bit with your coworkers and find out how their break was.

How do you ease back into your work routine after a long break? And, are you feeling a little sluggish this morning?
