Riverdale Park at odds with developers

Riverdale Park is still at odds with the developers of a 36-acre, $226 million mixed-use town center because of several plan details that have not been worked out, The Gazette reports.

Riverdale Park Mayor Vernon Archer said the town’s concerns include the location of a Whole Foods parking lot, the number of emergency access roads and ensuring an overpass over the CSX railway borders the eastern side of the development. The proposed plan is for a Whole Foods grocery store, fitness center, 190,000 square feet of retail and office and about 995 residential units.
