Georgetown University makes progress on boathouse

After years of trying, Georgetown University is making some headway toward its goal of building a boathouse on the Potomac River, The Washington Post reported. The Park Service is giving new consideration to a “non-motorized boathouse zone” along the waterfront. It is the first movement in three years on the issue which has generated much opposition in the past.
