HYATTSVILLE, Md. – A second person has died from injuries sustained after a car lost control in the parking lot of Home Depot on Thanksgiving Day.

Prince George’s County police say Jose Cristino Sanchez-Rosa, of Falls Church, Va, died Friday of his injuries. He’s believed to be about 40-years-old.

The accident also killed 41-year-old Fredy Castillo-Leon of Hyattsville and injured five others, including the driver of the sedan.

Officials say two men entered the parking lot around 1:15 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, but then turned around when they noticed Home Depot was closed. As they started to leave, the driver — a man in his 60s — passed out behind the wheel.

No charges have been filed and police are still investigating the crash.
