The JBG Cos. and Grosvenor Americas are changing course with their condominium project at 14th and S streets NW, switching the development to apartment rentals.

The two companies broke ground on the 125-unit project, at 1401 S St., earlier this year. The building is expected to be completed by fall 2012. Previously called District Condos, the project has been renamed “The District.”
